New from ELF Haul Review and Swatches

ELF just release some great new products to their line. From skin care to Palettes to New Matte Lipsticks. After browsing the site so many of the new launches were all so out. Which had me wondering is it hype? Or are they really that good? At $6-$8 a palette and finally being able to find a few I see why these keep selling out.

 

As usual I have a video review listed below but also want to do separate more detailed and up close swatches for you to see. Now just like the last post I did these during my week long sick-in-bed so I apologize in advance that these aren't as good they usual but going forward I will be back in the filming room to do the photos. xoxo Rochelle

I think this is an OK alternative for an oil cleanser in the drugstore. I have combination skin and do find this hydrating but do feel I have to do a second cleanse if I just this on my face. If I am using this just to take off my eye makeup. I do not need to do a second cleanse and like how hydrating it is for my dry eye area. 

 

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FORMULA OF THESE LIPSTICKS!!!!!!

I think these foundation palette are great for Natural contouring or for dry skin ladies that want a light coverage foundation. See video to watch how these foundations blend out.

This all in one palette is my favorite out of the bunch. Great for that one and done product to warm up the face, add a touch of blush and highlight and also to travel with. I am wearing this palette in the video review listed above.

This bronzer palette is nice and buildable. Great for skin tones fair to med- tan.

Forgot to include side by side comparison on this. Elf's blushing Brown is a Dupe for MAC's Taupe.

Ulta Haul Featuring Catrice - Beauty on a Budget

Well I have heard about Catrice but could never find it in my local Ulta's. So I Decided to order it on line. As I mentioned in my review video that will be list below. Amazing Lunch Break Special Gift with purchase of $25 or more. I recommend signing up for their emails as these lunch break gifts are always better then the generalized ones they post weekly.

 

 

 

I ended up trying this mascara and it is just okay. If the wand was about 25% smaller this actually would have been pretty good. But with my hooded eyes I had to look down while applying to not hit my lids. Other then that the formula is nice and it did not fake on me.

 

 

This volumizing lip gloss is a nice run out the door lip gloss or a topper. As for it plumping not so much but does gives your lips a nice pout without being super sticky.

 This mattifying powder has not made it way into my purse to touch up with. I use it the a retractable brush and it works fantastic! I would compare this to the pressed Makeup Forever Pressed HD powder any day.

 

 



Both these lip liners are great! Not only are they creamy but they stay in place and do not budge. At a price point of $2.99 I can wait to get more.  

 

 

I purchased this brow definer for a client of mine who has "No Brows" and this worked amazingly on her and went well with here extremely fair skin. It really does allow you the fill in your brows with a water color like consistency that can mimic real brow hairs because of the fine tip. After doing her bridal trial she called me the next day and said she was going online to order 2 and that it lasted on her all day long without fading.  

 

Is this a dupe for the Kat Von D Trooper Liner? I think it is. Only this one I think you can get a way thinner line then with the KVD. It stayed in place all day and did not bleed into my tear ducts YEAH!!! I will definitely be repurchasing this one again!

Sadly this Color Corrector Palette from Catrice is a total fail for me. Looking at the pans you think that these will be pigmented but they are not. the swatches I show here are with 3 swipes each and even after all that, as soon as you started to blend. They completely disappear. I would say pass on this on ladies.

 

Love Luxe Beauty Haul with Review and swatches

I was so excited when I received my order from Love Luxe Beauty today that I had to write about it!
I received 4 Highlighters but I am planning to use these as eye shadows as well LOL. Plus a customized palette made especially made for me by Nikki (the owner). She can literally take any image you want and turn it into a custom magnetized palette for you. I couldn't decide what I wanted so when I ordered it through her Etsy shop I left in the notes that I love Hello Kitty and bling so surprise me. Boy did she ever! It turned out amazing.
Not only are her highlighters gorgeous and pigmented. You also get a whole lot of product for $10 that will rival any High end highlighter out there! She not only puts a lot of love into her products. She takes the time to protect and package each product to ensure it doesn't get damaged in the shipping process. Now if you looking at the photos of Enchanted your probably wondering what happened there? Well that was my clumsy doing lol. I dropped it on the way to taking photos of it.

CoverFx Correct Clicks Review and Swatches

Yep it's another Color correction product. Coverfx has finally released their New color correction line. CoverFx describes these as:

A cream color corrector available in 6 global shades to visibly even skin tone by neutralizing the appearance of discoloration.  It retails for $18 for .2 oz.

Now all those that doesn't sound like a lot of product. These are extremely pigmented and don't blend away when you go to blend them. I picked up 3 of the colors that I felt I would use the most on my skin. If you haven't already check out my video with a demo click on the link listed below.
